Company Bios
- Curt Bearden
Curt is the founder of A-1 Appraisal Associates. After attending Georgia Baptist College, Curt settled with his family in his native north Georgia mountains. Curt has been in the real estate and building industry for over twenty years. He has obtained the highest level of appraisal licensing by the Georgia real estate appraisal board, Certified General. His Appraisal experience includes: subdivision analysis, feasibility studies for various types of investment property, large land tract acquisition, and all types of commercial property and custom residential development.
- Tony Bertolini
Tony has been with A-1 Appraisal Associates since 2003. Tony is currently the residential manager of our firm. Tony’s experience is diverse in complex residential appraisal work, including; custom log homes, vacation and rental homes, vacant agriculture and residential properties, and other special use properties archetypal of the north Georgia area. Other experience includes, property management, and residential development.
- Hannah Vick
Hannah has been with A-1 Appraisal Associates since 2003. She is a registered appraiser with experience in residential appraisals as well as research work for commercial evaluations. She is currently pursuing a business administration degree with a focus in accounting from Reinhardt College. After graduation, Hannah plans to intensify her work in the commercial appraisal field and concentrate in the area of asset/development valuation.
- Shannon Spillman
Shannon works on commercial assignments as a licensed appraiser for A-1 Appraisal. Shannon has an educational background in the accounting profession and has been in the appraisal industry for the previous four years. Shannon is an associate member of the Appraisal Institute and is currently pursuing his MAI designation. Shannon also holds a real estate sales license with the state of Georgia and works with investors looking for investment properties in the north Georgia market.
- Jason Bearden
Jason is a native to the north Georgia area. Jason has been working in the real estate industry for fifteen years. He has a diverse real estate background including: building construction, development, property management, investor and consultant to other investors. Jason has much experience in the field of appraisal with over 300 hours of appraisal education and 12,000 hours of appraisal work. Jason’s niche in the industry is in investment properties, having performed numerous appraisals and consultations for investors who are purchasing investment property in the north GA area.
